Sylvia Angeli, a Houstonian, graduated from Sam Houston College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since graduating, she has taught in H.I.S.D. and Houston Community College. She has also exhibited in national and local shows. In her paintings Sylvia creates mood and mystery through the exploration of scale, color and texture. She works in diverse mediums, but concentrates on perfecting her skills with oil. Her compositions include figures, landscapes and her well-known pears. Sylvia's paintings are exhibited in corporate and private collections throughout the country.
